Nightly shoot

Last night I had nothing on my hands so I thought: "Let's go outside with my camera and shoot whatever.", with no plan beforehand. What came out of that spontaneous idea is a bit of an experimental video I guess. My little cousin calls it "uber-boring" and I had a hard time giving a counter argument so I said: "Well.....it's art. It's not supposed to be entertaining." So there...
As with most of those videos, it's best not to give an explanation for it all. Don't worry though, it was all made in good fun. The music provided comes from the great Nils Frahm.

                                                         Night Surrounder

Uploading to youtube didn't work because of copyright obstructions for the music.

While capturing nightly things, a jogging ghost entered the scene. I googled the number of Ghostbusters, (032)555-2368, just in case it means to haunt me over his/her/it's violation of privacy.

The other day during a walk accompanied by a dog, in a ditch, far away from any house, a colourful bunch of dots floated about. In closer inspection, it appeared to be a group of plastic ducks. Why they were there, or who they belong(ed) to......it is a mistery, but in my head it could have been a scene from Toy Story in real life. The dog didn't seemed as surprised as I was about the discovery though...

Regarding music I've got something originating from my home country again. In our regions Synrise by the band Goose has earned the status of a classic in electronic music. Jef Neve, a talented jazz pianist, later covered the song on his piano. At first I tried to do a mix of both versions woven together, which took a surprising amount of time, but in the end I felt that I ruined both songs in the process. That's why I'll just upload Jef Neve's cover in it's pure form, plus a bonus song just because.

And now just shut up and enjoy.

                                                            And bonus:
